Sid Meier's Civilization II is an empire-building turn-based strategy game. The game starts at the Old Stone Age in 4000 BC. Your tribe begins with a Settlers unit and has no knowledge about the surrounding area. As you found new cities and explore the surroundings, you may find hostile barbarians, villages, and other competing cultures. Once you have discovered another culture, you can adopt a policy of co-existence by signing a permanent peace treaty with that culture; you can even form a military alliance. But for those who like to conquer, you will find great satisfaction in deploying more than 50 different military units and crush your enemies. However, military is not the only aspect of this game. You will also need to concentrate on trade, science development, and make your people happy in order to avoid civil disorders.

The Dude War is a traditional Worms 1 clone, where you're in control of a team of 1-4 dudes aiming to destroy all the competing teams before they'll do the same trick to you. It's a local multiplayer game for 2-4 human players, even up to 16 if necessary. AI-players are also available. You must use the 13 available weapons and 4 other utilities cleverly enough to ensure you will be the last team standing.
Weapons include e.g. bazooka, grenade, uzi, dynamite, nuke, missile strike, birdflu, and the melcone bomb. Once in a while are special delivery boxes being dropped to the playfield containing extra health, time, weapons or jump strength. Other features include randomly generated terrains in 8 different themes, statistics, and modifiable game-options.

The basic idea behind The Ship is that you play out a murder mystery on a luxury liner that's decked out in the art-deco style of the 1920s. But this isn't an adventure game, despite the Agatha Christie premise. A first-person perspective and maps loaded with narrow corridors and small rooms make the game feel like a shooter, although instead of blasting everyone in sight, you're assigned to kill a specific victim on the sly for cash, and his or her current location is updated at the bottom right of the screen every 30 seconds. Instead of blasting away with shotguns and BFGs, you mainly do your dirty deeds with improvised weapons such as golf clubs, letter openers, barbecue tongs, and croquet mallets (the more clunky the weapon, the more money you get for using it in a murder).
